Mount Waterman was very fun. It snowed last night and it looks like it will again tonight. Packed powder, no crowds, sweet deal. Half day was just enough.

The "snowboard park" is a bit of a joke ... just 2 jumps. Don't go for that.

I went up to Waterman to ski the afternoon on Saturday Feb 23 and it was definitely worth it. I don't think I could've done a full day there since there just isn't enough terrain, but I had a blast and the drive was short and easy. On top of it, there was really no one there, and despite the lifts being slow, there was no line. I imagine when they open Chair 3 there will be more good terrain to access, but don't even bother taking Chair 2 if you like steep stuff, because it's all off of Chair 1. The tree runs are fantastic, and overall it really exceeded my expectations.
