Its the warm water that is drained from the lodge up top it is funneled down a pipe and it dumps on the side of the run. Yes pretty getto. But looking at this pic this is an epic day at baldy. It still looks fresh. Ride it before it freezes.

That shot above is Bentley's Dream, NOT Nightmare!

But they are close... Nighmare is to the skiers left if looking at the picture, and is a bit steeper than this run.
