Snow was great, 2" of light powder on top of the hard stuff.
The sun stayed behind the clouds, so it didn't get slushy or
icy at all. Because of my recent knee surgery, I passed on
the Slide Peak (back mtn.) experience, but from what I could
see, it wasn't very crowded. The main runs (under lifts #1
and #3) were a bit crowded for my taste, but there was LOTS
of room under the smaller #4 and #8 chairs. Very little ice
was found. Mambo Alley was pretty sparsely populated too.
