Decided on Mt high over baldy for snowmaking reasons. Big Bear was too far for one day. Overall very nice coverage and good snow in most places. Never been to mt high and so i decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. Food sucks though.

Agree with you on the food, it's horrible. The best they've got is some pizza that is cooked off site each day at a local pizza place.

the pizza is what i had...but it also could be that i got it at like 2 or 3 o'clock so it had been laying around awhile

Thats pathetic. When the charge you more than $20 to ski they can should provide you with decent food. Snow Summit and Bear have some really good food. Even Mt Baldy has some good food. I think theyre priority is to suck your money and not give you quality. Thats why I dont think any resort will close anytime soon. Its the depression these guys need every penny they wont close. At least the big resorts like bear,summit, high, and baldy wont.

if this weather keeps up than i wouldnt be surprised to see baldy close but it looks like we ay get some snow next week
