I just skied snow summit on thurs. It was nice early on. Really well groomed a lot of hard pack some icy areas. Around 2 it was swamped out. The miracle mile was liquid towards the lower half and the snow on the bowl was slashed up. You could see the grass coming out on the bowl. I chipped a lot of p-tex off my race skis on thin coverage areas that come up so fast that its unavoidable. They need to coat that mountain every night or its going to burn in these conditions. Forecast still sees no snow for next 10 days. Cross your fingers pray for snow! I skied in my long johns and a t shirt seemed like its spring already.

bumps(moguls)

any runs at bear or summit that get good moguls, im heading up there wedensday and i dont wanna be stuck on groomers or ice, im thinking the rain washed the moguls away anyhow but anybody know?

it's mostly groomed...

but maybe take a look at Olympic and Off Chute at snow summit.

snow!

spring conditions in january are bad. just after the 21st, im betting on the 23rd, we will get a storm finally

pray for snow

yea, I wouldn't be surprised if we see one of the big resorts close, like high or bear. we'll see, pray for snow.
