What?

Three to five inches of light-dry new snow over night coated the mountain in a
thin blanket of freshness. Good to see some natural snow in the trees. Most of
the advanced terrain was closed but many opted to duck the rope in search of
the new powder. Those who treaded lightly found marginal goods near the trees,
others will spend some time in the garage with a candle and a stick of ptex.
All things considered, not a bad start to our season. Long range weather shows
a much more substail storm setting up around New Year's eve.
