the people that go there yesterday, slush in the trees off chair four and really heavy, deep powder

small natural jumps, nothing really up yet

totally stoked at the powder on the way up, saw the powder and nearly jumped out the car. but the day to go was yesterday. very good skiing down the more trafficed areas. off the main runs were a bit chewed up. chair four was bad before noon. spent all day on chair three and the chalk was amazing. would have been amazing conditions if they had a base under this but considering the time of year this was great skiing. chair one looked pretty good but also got the slush and was really cut up. i just feel bad for those going tomorrow since there was a melt down at the end of the day with is calling for ice in the morning and terrible driving conditions at the end of the road

The road conditions in the morning of the 20th were a bit icy towards the top -- there were a few accidents I passed along the way, and could smell my brakes burning a few times along the way up as my electronic stability control kicked in.

This said, I left early (around 3PM) because I was wary the roads would get REALLY icy once the sun set over the mountains. Nevertheless, I am glad I went.
