Got to the mountain at 8, went up chair 1 at about 8:30. Surprisingly chair 3
was actually open, so we went over there and took about 4 runs down the trees
near Andys Alley and above Bonanza Bowl. The powder was heavy but we got some
sick turns. Then we went over to Chair 4 when they opened it at about 9:30 and
switched between the trees and Turkey Shoot. Turkey Shoot had 5-foot+ cornices
on the southern facing side of the run that were insanely fun for popping off
of and dropping. Later we went over to Thunder for a bunch of tree runs after
lunch, finding a few sweet stashes. At the end of the day we cruised down past
Bentleys dream for a gnarly run to the parking lot. Overall, with the sick
trees and practically no lines, today made for the most fun I've had riding in
Socal.
