This was my first trip to Kratka and a good one.
The snow was excellent spring snow.
It was not at all crowded, Tues-Thurs lift is only $15.
The staff was very friendly.
Here are some comments:
- The rental skiis are bottom of the barrel, rent near
home or bring your own.
- The quality of instruction is excellent in their
20 minute "ski tips" lesson for advanced skiers-
only $5!
- I suggest this resort is for novice and above since
there really isn't a convenient beginner's area.
(The novice hill (chair 2) is a great (but short) hill for
practicing technique.
