Skiied up Easy Street to the top, then "skiied" down Chair Run and Easy
Street, though it was actually more traversing and kick turning. The snow
condition was good, packed down but soft on top, except under trees that had
been dripping, where it was very crusty. But it was very foggy, and maybe a
little too steep anyway for backcountry skis and leather boots. All the slopes
I saw are completely covered except for the hay bales, fences and runoff
channel below the short chairlift. At 6 pm only a very little sleety-looking
snow was falling. Heavy fog most of the way down the mountain and some rain on
the south side.
