For my first time out snowboarding without my friends and going at it alone I could not have selected to a better place to go to. And $35 for a half day...you can't find a better bargain! Thanks to the Sunday edition of the L A Times for running an article on Mt. Waterman. It is a gem for L A to have.

Never been to Mt. Waterman and I had a question

How do you get from the number one lift to the number two lift. Seems like a rather silly question I know but I've never been there and can't tell from the trail map and was wondering if you could tell me. Thanks.

Ted

Basically, when you get off Ch1, you go pretty much straight and bear a bit skier's left, and there is a mellow fire road which winds down to Ch2.
