I loved: 
almost everything......come on It's Mammoth.
I hated: 
wind,wind and more WIND !

For weather holds..the top.

18" of fresh powder on Tues,but the severe winds[100 + at the top] were blowing it all over the place.0 visibility at times.But the mornings were perfect....light winds and nice powder.Crowds weren't too bad as it was a holiday weekend[Easter] Other than breaking 2 binding straps and cracking a binding in half,it was a great trip.

You can always count on Mammoth having serious wind in the early spring! In most cases, wind is the enemy of the skier/boarder...areas of the mountain close...lifts shut down...sounds like you still had a good time, tho, right on.
